1. Who We Are

Pethology ("we", "us", "our") is an educational platform for Animal Care and Veterinary Assistant students, created and operated by Nana da Silva, based in Ireland. By accessing or using Pethology, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Who Can Use Pethology

Pethology is intended for students and teachers participating in Animal Care programmes. Access is granted via a whitelist system managed by your institution. You must:

• Be a registered student or teacher at a participating institution
• Use your institutional email address to log in
• Use the platform only for educational purposes

3. Your Account

Your account is created using Auth0 authentication with your institutional email. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any purpose other than education
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the platform's operation
• Copy or redistribute quiz content without permission

5. Content

Quiz questions, module content, and educational materials on Pethology are created for learning purposes. While we strive for accuracy, content should not be used as a substitute for professional veterinary advice or formal qualification requirements.

Content you create (diary entries, etc.) remains yours. We store it solely to provide the service to you.

6. Availability

Pethology is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

Pethology is an independent educational tool and is not affiliated with any official examination body or veterinary regulatory authority. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pethology after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes where possible.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
