📚 Quick Start Guide

For Teachers

Welcome! Here's how to get started with Pethology as a teacher.

🚀 First Time Setup

1. Login to your account Go to pethology.app/auth0-login.html and sign in with your email. You'll create a password on your first login.
2. Access Teacher Dashboard After login, you'll be redirected to the Teacher Dashboard where you can manage your class.
3. Import Your Students (Optional) Click "Import Students" to add students via CSV or manually. They'll be able to login once added to the whitelist.

📝 Creating Custom Quizzes

1. Navigate to Quiz Import In your Teacher Dashboard, click "Import Quiz" or go to quiz-import.html
2. Prepare your CSV file Your CSV must have these columns: question, optionA, optionB, optionC, optionD, correctAnswer (0-3), explanation (optional), module
3. Upload and Review Upload your CSV, review the questions, set a deadline (optional), and save!

👥 Managing Your Class

1. View All Students Scroll to "Student Progress" section in your dashboard to see all enrolled students.
2. Filter & Sort Use the search box to find students by name, or filter by performance (High ≥80%, Medium 60-79%, Low <60%).
3. View Student Details Click on any student's name to see their detailed profile: stats, weak topics, and quiz history.

Welcome! Here's how to start learning with Pethology.

🚀 Getting Started

1. Login to your account Go to pethology.app/auth0-login.html and sign in with your school email (starts with "plc").
2. Explore Your Dashboard You'll see your stats, recent achievements, and all available quiz modules.
3. Take Your First Quiz Click on any module (e.g., "Grooming Basics") and select "Standard Quiz" to start practicing!

🤖 Unlocking Adaptive Quiz (THE GAME CHANGER!)

1. Complete 1-2 Standard Quizzes Take quizzes from any modules. The system needs to learn about your performance first.
2. Click "Adaptive Quiz" Card Once you have quiz history, click the "Adaptive Quiz" card in your dashboard (has a 🤖 icon).
3. See Your Analysis You'll see which topics you're strong/weak at, based on your quiz history.
4. Start Adaptive Quiz Click "Start Adaptive Quiz" and the AI will generate a personalized 15-question quiz focusing 60% on your weak topics!

📊 Tracking Your Progress

1. View Progress Page Click "My Progress" in the sidebar to see detailed charts of your performance over time.
2. Check Achievements Click "Achievements" to see all 19 achievements and track which ones you've unlocked!
3. Review Quiz History Your Progress page shows all quizzes you've taken, your scores, and weak topics.

Common Questions

Q: I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
A: Click "Forgot password?" on the login page. Auth0 will send you a reset link via email.

Q: Can I take quizzes on my phone?
A: Yes! Pethology is fully mobile-responsive. It works great on phones, tablets, and computers.

Q: How many times can I take a quiz?
A: As many times as you want! Questions are randomized each time, so you'll get different practice.

Q: When should I use Adaptive Quiz vs Standard Quiz?
A: Use Standard Quiz when learning new topics. Once you've taken a few quizzes, use Adaptive Quiz to focus on your weak areas and improve faster!

Q: Can teachers see my quiz results?
A: Yes, teachers can see your quiz history, scores, and weak topics. This helps them provide better support!
